Living in the mobile egg house
This house looking like a hard boiled egg is made by the Belgian architectural firm “dmvA”. It was actually meant to be a an extension for the “Xfactoragencies” office, but was rejected several times by local building regulations, so instead “dmvA” made a mobile office that didn’t look anything like the old “Xfactoragencies” offices.
The whole “egg house” is made of polyester, and it took 18 months to build it. Inside you can find a bathroom, a kitchen, interior lighting, a bed and several niches for storage, and like that wasn’t enough the nose can be opened automatically and is serving as a kind of porch. It can also be used as an office, guestroom or garden house.
