Fail: Now That’s Exactly How You Don’t Park Your Mercedes

A 67-year old unnamed motorist had a narrow escape, while reversing his Mercedes Benz C-Class on the seventh floor of a Bank of America multi-story car park. The driver claims that his foot got stuck in between the brake pedal and the accelerator, while reversing into the parking spot in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Though the car accelerated and rammed into the outer-wall, the driver got extremely lucky with the car stopping with its boot left dangling (wheels still inside, thank god) in the air.

Tulsa Police Department Corporal David Crow told radio station KRMG: “At about 1:50 pm this afternoon we had a report of a car hitting the side of a building… We didn’t know what that meant but when we got here we saw this Mercedes backed halfway out of a parking spot on the seventh floor of this parking garage… He was coming across the back of the parking garage and he created a little bit of momentum because he went quite a distance and hit this wall and almost came all the way out.”

Though the driver escaped unscathed, the cars parked below didnt have luck smile on them, as the falling bricks destroyed cars upto 80 feet away. A passerby explained of the accident as “the craziest thing I’ve ever seen… There was a loud boom and we all looked up and saw the car coming through the wall.”
